ALLEYWAY is a studio salon in Bushwick built for independent hairstylists. We believe that creativity thrives when people are given both freedom and support. Our goal is to provide a beautiful, functional workspace where artists can build businesses that reflect their own vision while being surrounded by a community of like-minded professionals.

In addition to providing a fully equipped workspace, we offer resources, guidance, and education for stylists looking to strengthen the business side of their careers and develop long-term sustainability.
As ALLEYWAY continues to grow, we are also actively working toward offering group health insurance opportunities for our stylists.
You maintain ownership of your business while benefiting from a collaborative and supportive environment designed to help you succeed.

ALLEYWAY operates on an independent contractor model.
Stylists set their own schedules, pricing, services, and policies while maintaining full ownership of the their clientele and business operations.
Our goal is to remove as many barriers as possible so you can focus on serving your clients and growing your business.

We currently offer both Cutting and Color Memberships depending on your service needs.
All memberships include access to our studio amenities and shared spaces. Color Memberships include additional access to color-specific tools such as bowls, foils, gloves, and dispensary access.
Membership is available for traveling, part-time, and full-time stylists.
