looking back
in a world that tells you to go fast restraint has been the secret weapon to building. collecting as much data as possible before making a move but having enough presence in it to make the move instead of the endless waiting for the right time. annoying lesson to learn
walking the dog is the art of knowing when to walk away from something and when to come back to it. it differs from restraint because it requires a full departure, purposefully forgetting something so it can exist as is for a while. my original iteration of the website was quickly outgrown, but i loved to forget about it.
since reaching the milestone of no longer building the space i have had to learn a new walk of life. stewarding what has been created vs my past year of creating. i can quickly turn parasitic if i am left to ruminate, and i have had to force my eyes off of the pot of water
