WHAT IM UP TO
-
Built from the belief that people do their best work when they are given both freedom and support. ALLEYWAY exists to help artists build sustainable careers, meaningful relationships, and communities that extend beyond the chair.
I did not create ALLEYWAY with the belief that I was the best stylist in the room, but with the intention of using my unique perspective to create opportunities for artists I admire.
My goal is to build an environment where talented people feel supported, empowered, and equipped to grow both creatively and professionally. ALLEYWAY is my way of investing in the people and communities that have shaped me throughout my own career.

ALLEYWAY began as a salon, but the long-term vision extends far beyond hair.
My hope is to build an ecosystem that empowers independent artists through education, community, mentorship, business resources, and connection. By bringing together creatives and industry professionals, ALLEYWAY aims to become a place where people can collaborate, build sustainable careers, and grow alongside one another.
At its core, ALLEYWAY exists to strengthen community and help talented people spend more time creating and less time figuring everything out alone.

Currently pursuing a B.S. in Leadership and Management at New York University.
My goal is to become a stronger leader, operator, and advocate for creative professionals while continuing to build businesses that prioritize both people and profitability.

The one time I will throw down the community card. I have worked at enough places that use this term while their infrastructure says anything but. We have become incredibly good at serving consumers and surprisingly bad at supporting the people doing the work behind it all.
Hair has always felt different to me. It is one of the few things that connects every industry, background, age, and type of person. Through ALLEYWAY, I hope to use that connection point to build something larger than a salon: a place where artists, entrepreneurs, and curious people can learn from one another, share resources, collaborate, and build lives they are excited about. If I am successful, ALLEYWAY will serve more functions that just a space for stylist and their clients.

The way I talk about Texas you would think the state is paying me. My love runs deep for my home and family.
Moving from Texas to New York changed so much about how I experience the world. I am constantly dancing along the line of homesickness and the joyous freedom of never having to go to the gas station.
I am obviously growing deep roots in New York now, and I genuinely care about learning how people build lives, communities, and careers in places different from my own. Some of my favorite conversations happen with the strangers I bump into on the street here, the city is the best for those.
CORE INTERESTS
Creative Direction
Glorified way of saying I am insanely particular about the way things look, feel, and serve a purpose. My goalpost in every decision is marrying the three. Think: the same five black 100% cotton boat neck tees that are in my closet. Function and consistency mixed with quality and personal style.
Non-Linear Careers
The person I am today is the sum of all of the random jobs I have worked. I recognize the value in each one of them regardless of the role or field. I have taken a very non-linear route while developing my current career, but I have come out the other side knowing exactly what was making every job lack one thing or another.
Hospitality
Whether I was serving food, making coffee or behind register at the grocery store, I have always cared deeply about creating environments where people feel comfortable being there. I observe and remember small details naturally, this has taken me far in every service industry job I have ever held. The connections I made in hospitality terraformed my life today.
Infrastructure
The thing I have loved creating most is conditions that allow other people to succeed. I am of the belief that everyone I come into contact with has meaning no matter how long they are around. When I meet other creatives my brain immediately jumps into the gear of how can I help or connect.

Without my friend Lillian none of what I have accomplished could be possible, my community has been my only source of stability during this insane period of my life. She continues to be a strong supporter as the now Director of Operations at ALLEYWAY, the only person fit for the role.
Lillian has been with me through so much in the short period of time we have been friends.
I wish for everyone to have a friend just like her.
A Special Thanks to Lillian,
